Event description


Love spending time outdoors? Looking to escape from the city for a weekend? Then join us at Hart House Farm for our Midsummer’s Eve celebration!

Bring your shorts, sunscreen and swimsuit and enjoy a summer weekend at the farm. Relax in the sauna, swim in the ponds, and hike through the trails to see natural cliffs and crevices. There will be lots of activities, delicious food on the BBQ, and a bonfire. So dust off that old camping gear and get ready to spend a memorable night under the stars!

Option to sleep indoors or camp outside - please see ticket structure. If you would like to rent a tent for this event, please check out Mountain Equipment Co-Op.

Lunch, dinner, & brunch will be provided. Please alert us to any dietary needs or allergies when purchasing tickets; we will try to accomodate dietary needs as best as we can.


**Unfortunately, the premises of the Hart House farm are not wheelchair accessible. Contact farm.committee@gmail.com for additional questions or information.

There will be porta-potties available for use

This event is open to UofT Students & Hart House Members only.
UofT students & Hart House Members may purchase tickets for up to 2 guests, & must be attending the event with their guest(s). You may be asked to show proof of your Hart House membership or UofT student card at the bus/farm.


SAT 10am sharp - Bus leaves Hart House, 7 Hart House Circle
(arrive at Farm at 11am)

SUN noon - Bus leaves Hart House Farm
(arrive at Hart House at 1pm)

$20 (incl. HST) - NO bus + sleep outside*

FREE - children under 5 (BUT ONLY if travelling by car)

Children under 5 are free provided they travel by car.

Please note that no children under 18 months will be allowed on the bus; any young child on the bus must be able to sit up on their own (support their own weight) and have a parent/caregiver sitting beside them.


* IMPORTANT: Please only purchase a ticket for the "sleep outside" category if you are committed to sleeping outdoors, rain or shine. There is limited space indoors & the Hart House Farm Committee cannot guarantee that there will be room for extra guests, even in the event of inclement weather.

-Please list any allergies / dietary restrictions present when buying tickets.

- For those who are sleeping outside, tents are not provided by the Farm.
- Sleeping bags & pillows should be brought by all attendees.

- Bring swimming attire to enjoy access to the sauna & ponds. No lifeguard is on duty.

- Pets are not permitted on the Farm.

- Refunds will only be accepted up until 72 hours before the event

About Hart House Farm

Hart House Farm is a beautiful 150-acre property cradled in the Caledon Hills on the ridge of the Niagara Escarpment, only 1 hour north Toronto. Featuring an outdoor sauna and two swimming ponds.

Driving Directions to Hart House Farm from Downtown Toronto

- Gardiner W to Highway 427

- 427 N to Highway 401

- 401 W to Erin Mills Pkwy/Mississauga Road - Exit 336

- N on Mississauga Road to Olde Baseline Road (24km)

- Right (E) on Olde Baseline Road (1.1 km)

- Left (N) on Creditview Road (Note: Creditview is a dirt/loose gravel road)

- Watch for the HART HOUSE FARM sign on your right (approx 1.7 km). The Farm is down the laneway (approx 0.5km).
