Scott Williams will present a deep dive into STOPP Therapy, a key skill for people suffering from anxiety, depression, racing thoughts, and impulsivity. You will leave the session with practical tools to gain control of your responses to situations around you and feelings that arise within.
Scott works as the Mental Health Clinical Supervisor for Pivot Point Family Growth Center, heading the team of counsellors and family support workers who serve families and individuals negotiating the complicated world of autism. He has been working in the field for three decades as a social worker, adoptions agent, group home director, youth and family counsellor, addictions specialist, and with special needs individuals and groups. Scott does public speaking on a regular basis for school districts, government agencies, and private enterprise. His specialties include neurofeedback/biofeedback, counselling for trauma, mental health and addictions, relationships, and specialized counselling for individuals and families.
