Event description

Description

Many people explore mindfulness as part of their personal practice while in meditation and also to gain perspective in their lives and relationships. Compassionate Communication offers a living expression of how mindfulness can be applied when we communicate with ourselves and others.

Join us for experiential activities for cultivating awareness and connection to your life. We’ll begin with a self-compassion exercise for connecting to what is present and alive in the moment. Then we’ll explore empathic listening in small groups. There will be time for sharing and reflection in the full group as well.

The Compassionate Communication™ process is a mindful approach for connection, everyday peacemaking, conflict transformation, and healing. Developed by Dr. Marshall Rosenberg, Compassionate Communication™ is practiced in 72 countries in family, workplace, community, activism, education, mediation, prison, and government settings.
