Mindfulness has been utilized for centuries to explore one's internal world, invoke feelings of compassion and creativity, as well as provide feelings of deep relaxation & inner peace.

But how can we use these skills in our daily lives to improve overall mental health & wellbeing?

Join certified yoga & meditation teacher Aliana for this Trauma-Informed enriching and informative workshop designed to offer simple, practical yet accessible and effective tools to support your daily mental well-being.

Understanding that both Mindfulness and Mental Health is not a "one size fits all" experience, but a deeply personal and unique practice. We will explore various mindful exercises and develop a personalized experience for each practitioner.

During this workshop, we will learn:

  • Beginner-friendly breathing & body awareness techniques
  • Short & sweet daily meditation practices
  • How to access & work with the parasympathetic nervous system
  • How to establish a personalized mindful routine
  • Tools to create a "mindful mindset"
  • Present-moment awareness

Participants can expect to leave this experience with the confidence to practice and maintain a more mindful lived experience everyday, in ways that make sense for their unique lifestyle

Studio Directions:

Visit us at 5 Dickens Street (Dundas Street and Logan Avenue), Toronto. If you are driving, you will enter Dickens Street from Carlaw Avenue. There is a Green P parking section outside the studio, alternatively, there is free parking on Logan Avenue.

If you are entering the studio from Logan Avenue, you can take the set of stairs on the east side of the street (just north of Dundas) that will bring you directly to the front door of our space.

Refund Policy:

MindfulPPL's events and workshops are not refundable.

Ticket sales end 24 hours prior to the event start time. In the event that the minimum amount of attendees is not reached within 24 hours of the event, the event will be postponed, and you will be notified. Please note that a refund will not be issued; instead, your ticket will be transferred to the new date.

About your facilitator

With a clear focus on accessible Stress Reduction and Mindfulness, Aliana passion lies in helping everyday people find their way to a happier, healthier and more conscious lifestyle using movement, meditation and evidence-based Mindfulness practices.

Strongly rooted in sustainability, she has and continues to develop programs, classes, and meditations to suit a variety of experience levels, needs, and interests.

@beingaliana is a Certified Trauma-Informed Yoga & Meditation Teacher, former Management Consultant, and Registered Early Childhood Educator with over 10 years of combined experience.

She holds more than 700 hours of Formal Wellness Training from University of Toronto and Yoga Alliance Accredited organizations.

She continues to dedicate her time to Program Development, Research and Community Initiatives.
