Event description

Description

The goal of the sessions is to help us grow in the practice of Mindfulness in our daily life. Anyone interested in Mindfulness can attend these sessions, which provide an opportunity to understand and explore the various challenges in living mindfully. The session usually has two parts: the first part focus on practicing mindfulness as a group. The second part is self-inquiry and discussion - in this part, one participant volunteers to be engaged in a dialogical-inquiry with the facilitator. The subject of the dialogical-inquiry can be anything under the sun but should be personally relevant to the participants. It can be a personal or family issue or challenges in practicing mindfulness.

Meditation is practiced sitting in cross-legged position on the floor. Feel free to bring your Meditation cushion; those who are not used to cross-legged sitting may use chairs.

Please check the Facebook page for the current status.

SECURITY DOOR - will be closed at 6.40 pm and participants arriving after that will not be able to enter the building.

Facilitator: Isaac Cherian

Isaac is an experienced therapist who has been practicing yoga and meditation for over 20 years. He studied yoga and meditation in India and further trained to integrate them into the therapy process at Bangor University, UK.
