Mindset Awareness Plan
(MAP) your Life
MAP your Life is a 4 hour deep dive into your personal narratives, self-talk, and limiting beliefs that keep you stuck and hesitant in pursuing progress and change in your life.
I have developed an intuitive method to introspection and self-discovery that leads to a concrete plan of action, by using the right language tools and approach, that will move you from awareness to action. Shift from thinking to doing and from fearful to fierce.
MAP your Life and Take Action!
(Mindset Awareness Practice)
Why do I do this?
Looking back at all the times I felt stuck, it had nothing to do with any external factors, but mostly to do with the dialogue inside my own head.
It took me years to figure out this loop. It took effort to become conscious of where I was placing blame, how I was disempowering myself, and where I needed to take action, create progress, and make changes in my life.
I thought, “if I can do so much damage to myself, use up all this energy, let me see what I could do if I were to see where I lose energy, place blame, and where I need to take action to find my own way in life?” I started asking myself some tough questions. I realized that, by doing that, I made myself available to some powerful answers.
How many times did you take a detour in your pathway? How many times did you say that it’s not the right time? Or, how many times did you say that you will get to working on what you know in your heart is your calling, but you told yourself you’ll do it when the stars are aligned? If you’re not moving forward, you’re moving sideways, parallel to your goals and destiny. It feels more like life is living you, rather than you being alive.
Your mindset, including negative self-talk, limiting beliefs, and personal narratives, are damaging because they go unchecked; they are inherited, learned, and habitual. You have developed and sustained practices that give you the false sense that, by treating yourself this way, will lead to improving yourself. This is a learned behaviour that can be unlearned. The only way to unlearn this is to recognize these patterns and dynamics that you have normalized and continue to keep you trapped in the same cycle, year after year. If you don’t address your mindset, you won’t get on with your life.
MIndset Awareness Practice (MAP) is a 4 hour workshop that applies an intuitive method for introspection and self-discovery, through a 6 step program, that leads to a concrete plan of action. By using effective language tools, and asking the right questions, MAP will shift you from awareness to action, from thinking to doing, and from “fine” to fierce. You will begin to see life, and things that are “happening to you,” as lessons, guidance, and opportunities for growth and progress. You will feel clear and empowered to pivot in your relationships, career, finances, and body. You will recognize the power of your thoughts, spirit, and values. You will begin the journey of really getting to know who you are, and how you need to grow, in order to capture your visions and become open to receiving them.
Are you ready?
Bring a friend, family member, or partner, and let's get to work!
We have graduated 20 MAP students in 2020 and have a few spots left before this epic year is over!
What people are saying!
What about Yanna, and her method, helped you?
I really enjoyed the layout and pieces of each square.
Step by step and talking through each step.
Personal examples you share.
It felt safe-welcome - I never share things in public!
The way you explained and brought personal examples to the students.
I really enjoyed hearing your story along with the theory/concepts for each step in the process.
I like how every exercise fit together and was prgressvie. It came together in a complete circle.
Allowing this to be my own journey and discovery.
I love how personable and vulnerable you wore. It made me feel connected and allowed me to open up and to be vulnerable.
You are the best and most beautiful - inspirational person I’ve ever met. I know you don’t know your own power and worth. You are a sea-eyed goddess.
I appreciate the simplicity of your presentation. 6 squares is a great way to break things down.
The open conversation and life struggles of other people.
I really enjoyed the method of a free and open space that made me comfortable to share my insecurities.
You are genuine, non-judgmental, open, and you’ve done the work so that you can facilitate deeper group work.
I love how you pause after each thought so we can think about things.
The six boxes help keep things focused and easy to understand.
Your ability to be fluid throughout the workshop.
I really enjoyed the workshop, it helped me ask some questions I have never asked myself before. Thank you for opening myself to become more confident in my values and goals.
Your natural, kind, and encouraging manner. You are excellent at holding space.
It helped to allow for group discussion and clear steps in the beginning.
I liked having the squares!
Open conversation!
What areas of your life has MAP helped you get more clarity in?
My values-bringing me back to them to re-visit and see them in a different light.
Work-goals and reaching them. Values-working in alignment with them.
This has really given me clarity on my mental health and the way I let my relationships affect my life.
Why I behave the way I do. Why I make the choices and decisions and have trouble living with them.
Values and connecting the dots between the squares.
The benefit of a saboteur...she is trying to tell me / teach me / guide me. Don’t be so quick to dismiss her.
My values-why I keep another person disempowered; the same person I blame for my disempowerment.
The area of my life that has witnessed improvement is correcting self-talk.
To see how values play a role in every decision I made.
To forgive myself and to believe in myself.
My values-bringing me back to them-to revisit them and see them in a different light.
This helped me have more clarity in knowing how to acknowledge certain feelings or narratives and address them in a productive manner.
The part about taking ownership without blame or shame-making; a choice whether I want to forgive someone, for example.
My values and what I stand for!
Values and morals.
It has helped me feel and understand why I am always so tired and drained.
Relationship with family.
It helped me prioritize what I value, I had a sense already but wasn’t sure of the order.
Goal setting.
My 3 core values!
What part of the MAP workshop was an AHA moment for you?
Why I enjoy work so little right now-it is not in alignment with my goals / destiny and it is a lesson that I needed to learn for me to take steps to pursue my true calling.
When you were talking about drawing that bottom line of “if I don’t say _____ then, I will_____.” I will be using that for sure!
Struggling to identify my core values.
Where my energy drain comes from is not aligned with my values.
How much energy I spend on thinking and realizing that is why I’m so tired/exhausted.
Wheel of life and how it correlates to my values.
The story I tell myself applies to many areas of my life.
We evolve through relationships, not in isolation.
Then Energy MAP really made me realize how the story I tell myself drains my energy in the morning, before I even begin my day.
I liked the idea of the Energy MAP. For example, where do I lose power, energy in the story?
I realized my “universe shopping” wasn’t very “out there.”
When you said that we keep a part of our lives in chaos to make an excuse for another! Oh my God!
The Value section of the workshop
The “wish list”, the “wheel of life”, and the values were an aha moment for me! The whole workshop was great!
Where I could offer guided mindfulness or meditations to complement the activities.
How I translate my values to others and help them understand them. Deserves more time on its own box.
Goal Setting and value naming.
Looking at areas that need improvement and how to utilize successful areas to do so- also, my 3 core values!
What are your takeaways from MAP, that you feel you are going to apply in the future?
My values-actions must align.
Stick to my “bottom line”.
Ownership of decisions.
Definitely the “I love knowing” phrase when talking about the future and goals.
Explore and identify my core values.
Live out my core values authentically.
Establish my “bottom line”.
Changing perspective on my “low” part of the wheel of life.
Checking my stories.
Listening to my negative self-talk.
Re-evaluating my goals.
Listening to my values and stop people-pleasing and seeking validation.
The chaos I create at work to distract me from love and body work.
To use that “what works” in the wheel of life and how to apply it to areas that need help.
Celebrate rock bottoms.
To explore the chaos in my life.
I will definitely do this more often and check in with myself.
Our thoughts are powerful!
I have more control that I give myself credit for.
For me, this was more of a review because I’m doing, and have done, a lot of this kind of work. Having said that, I really liked the setup of the genie, the shopping in the universe!
One thing at a time! Watch my vocabulary! Take control of the CHAOS!
I need to re-evaluate goals and values and to reinforce them.
I am going to get myself out of the chaos. I will try to focus on my personal goals and values to reach abundance.
3 steps of action of goals/targets-where can I borrow energy or momentum and write letters to myself from my higher self.
Remember to check in with myself. Understand that I’m responsible for translating my values and being authentic with my goals.
Checking in with my values-setting-goals-defining who I want to be.
Why would you recommend this workshop to someone? What aspect of life would you suggest it could help them in?

It will help them focus on things that really matter.
People will benefit from the reflection.
I would recommend it to people going through transitions and changes, also for empowerment and self-development.
Yes, for someone who needs guidance and direction in prioritizing their values or feel overwhelmed.

Talking aloud to themselves and gaining tools in a way they have not before.
