About this event
This is an outdoor and in-person event that will teach you about how data used in Monarch Butterfly conservation efforts is collected and utilized. Mission Monarch is a community science program aimed at gathering data on monarch and milkweed distribution and abundance. Join us in the gorgeous Meadowlily Nature Preserve for a filed day to monitor for Monarch Butterflies, their eggs and caterpillars. This will be a great chance to help the butterflies in the area while also learning about Thames Talbot Land Trust's restoration efforts at Meadowlily. The data collected from this event will help researchers from Mission Monarch help to conserve Monarch Butterfly populations.
If you are attending this event please also RSVP to the webinar introducing the program here. Even if you cannot attend the webinar live, all those who RSVP to the webinar will receive a recording for future use.
This event is made possible by the Signal Boost program through Reforest London.
