Description

Join Mayor Bonnie Crombie, Members of Council, the Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services leadership team along with partners, Peel Regional Police and the Department of National Defence as they celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services with an Official Ceremony and community open house.

Official Ceremony

10:30 a.m.

The ceremony will take place in the bay of the Garry W. Morden Centre

Free Garry W. Morden Centre Community Open House

11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Family-friendly activities will include hands-on demonstrations, tours, access to the fire safety trailer, a high-speed chase demonstration by the Peel Regional Police and much more.

Limited parking is available onsite at the Garry W. Morden Centre. Additional, complimentary parking is available at the Lisgar Go Station located at 3250 Argentia Road. Shuttle buses will be available to and from the station and the Garry W. Morden Centre every 30 minutes from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
