Description

Da-giiwewaat (so they can go home) is a National campaign to raise awareness about Indigenous children affected by the child welfare system of Canada.

Join the Zonta Club of Guelph on Saturday March 30th for a hands on Baby Moccasins workshop. Linda Jowell will be facilitating the workshop to provide knowledge and awareness of child apprehension that is impacting Indigenous communities.

The event will close with a special guided tour of the Indianized & Yakon:kwe exhibits by the Guelph Museums curator.

Donations accepted in support of the Moccasin Project

Coffee Tea and Light refreshments will be provided

Free Community Event

Suitable for 10 years and older must be accompanied by an adult
