Description

Join Derek Ju-Sen Kitchen at Jabberwocky for our second Ikebana workshop in this unique space upstairs at Union Local 613 in downtown Ottawa. The workshop is a social get together with food, flowers, and friendship,, and the cost of $45 includes interesting materials that will encourage you to explore the bounds of your creativity, while enjoying delicious and hearty snacks by the chefs at Jabberwocky. Beverages will also be available from Jabberwocky's menu, which includes "vegetarian/vegan chow, with galumphing wines, brillig cocktails and frabjous beers"

All proceeds of this event will go to support the Ohara School of Ikebana, Ottawa Chapter, in celebrating our 30th Anniversary.

Please bring a container of your choice and whatever tools and materials you need to arrange. Members of all ikebana schools are welcome, but there is an attendance limit of 20 so please register early.

Note: Monday nights at Union Local 613 offer delicious "TV dinners" which feature multiple samplings of their specialties, as well as the regular menu. If you'd like, please call them directly at 615 231-1010 to reserve a post-ikebana dinner. Check out the menu at union613.ca
