Description

End of support for SQL Server 2008 is almost here (ends in July!), which means it’s time to take flight on your migration strategy.

But, do you have a plan in place? What approach should you take to ensure a smooth transition?

To guide you through these questions, PASS, Microsoft, and Intel® have teamed up for a series of expert-led events, giving you all the tools you need to get to the final destination—a modern data platform.

Not only will you receive insightful views on migration, but you’ll also walk away with an actionable plan for the year ahead.

What can you expect from this FREE local event?

  • Networking and training from peers and experts
  • Access to purpose-built training developed by engineers at Microsoft and Intel
  • Lots of fun and cool swag!

Speaker: Ginger Grant
Ginger manages the consultancy Desert Isle Group and shares what she has learned while working with data technology to people around the world. Last year she co-authored the book Exam Ref 70-774 Perform Cloud Data Science with Azure Machine Learning and has recently released an online class at Datacamp on Intermediate T-SQL. As a Microsoft MVP in Data Platform, Microsoft Certified Trainer and an Idera ACE, she focuses on guiding clients to create solutions using the entire Microsoft Data Stack, which includes SQL Server, Power BI and Azure Data Cloud components. When not working, she protypes the latest pre-release data technologies, maintains her blog http://www.desertislesql.com, and spends time on twitter @desertislesql.

We’d like to thank our sponsors PASS, Microsoft, and Intel® for their support.

Don’t delay, space is limited!

We look forward to seeing you there!
