Money Talks! Chapter 6 - we continue our exploration of financial literacy for ages 25-35.
You've heard it before, "There are only two certainties in life, death and taxes." Let's agree to not rush the first one, but to certainly understand and be prepared for both, especially taxes!
Yes, we need to keep the city, the province and the country running - that's what taxes fund. However, nobody wants to pay more than their share. Tonight we'll explore the practical side of tax - how can you make the system work best for you, honestly and ethically. For example: which gives you better tax advantages and when - contributions to TFSA or RRSP?
*This series is free as we promote financial literacy in Barrie. We ask only that you make a donation of what you can afford to The David Busby Street Centre - Donations of $20 or more will receive a receipt. Be sure to indicate your mailing address. Thank you!
