There is a $10 reservation fee at registration, which is non-refundable upon cancellation.
This is a special mosaic workshop to fundraise for the earthquake survivors in Turkey. Within the earthquake-impacted area, about 25,000 women will be giving birth in the next few months. All donations raised from this event will go to an NGO that will ensure that these expecting mothers will have access to essential services.
Class covers cutting, proper adhesives, substrates, design/layout and grouting. Students are introduced to a wide variety of materials and will complete a 6”x6” trivet during the class.
April 21 , 6-9 pm : designing and gluing the tiles.
April 28, 6 to 7:30pm / 7:30 to 9 pm: grouting and cleaning the tiles.
Students are encouraged to experiment with color and texture to begin to discover the possibilities of this beautiful art form.
All materials are included (to be used in during the class).
