Ever thought of starting a mother-daughter book club? Need some help planning? A mother-daughter book club is a great way for girls to connect with the special women in their lives and share books. Katherine Koller, playwright, author of a new YA crossover novel, Art Lessons, and experienced mother-daughter book club organizer, visits the bookstore to share her experiences and suggestions for getting your mother-daughter book club up and running.

About the book:
Art Lessons is told in the voice of Cassie from seven to eighteen. As she ages, she discovers the transformative power of visual art in herself and on the lives of others.
About Katherine Koller:
Besides fiction, Edmonton author Katherine Koller writes for stage, radio and film. Excerpts from Art Lessons have appeared in Room, Alberta Views, National Voices and upcoming in the Anthology of Canadian-Polish Writing. Katherine won the Alberta Playwriting Competition for Last Chance Leduc and wrote the online documentary series, Sustainable Me. Her collection of plays is Voices of the Land: The Seed Savers and Other Plays.
