Mother's Day High Tea in Support of Louise Dean
Event Information
Description
A wonderful afternoon full of tasty treats and inspiration. This Mother's Day, Alora Boutique will be teaming up with Brasserie Kensington to provide you and your mother with a lovely afternoon of tasty treats and inspiration.
We will be donating $10 from every ticket to the Louise Dean School that helps young or expecting mothers earn an education and be amazing mothers. Not only that but we will have Colleen Shepherd talk about her journey as a young mother and how she was able to build a successful career with the help of Louise Dean School.
About Louise Dean School:
Louise Dean School is a specialized Grade 9 – 12 education program for pregnant and parenting teens. The school is a compassionate and caring community, which is anchored by the strong belief that education is the key to moving the lives of our students and their children forward. The school's goal is to ensure that every young woman that we work has comprehensive supports, as they move into family and community leadership.
The education program allows students to work towards a high school diploma or certificate, while affording them flexible scheduling for maternity leaves, counselling or lifestyle challenges.
