Explore – Experience – Discover

The Incredible Journey of the Developmental Movement Patterns

This 32-hour experiential course is about the developmental movement patterns and the early primitive reflexes that build them. Here we explore the development of the core movement of the body and its contribution to our ease of academic learning, self-regulation, emotional development and mental wellness, and physical skills.

Course Content includes:
* Learn about primitive reflexes and how to assess if integrated or active
* Understand the relationship of reflexes to movement patterns that support emotional wellness and cognitive skills
* Practice easy-to-do exercises and techniques that assist in integrating reflexes
* Discover how stress impacts movement and learning
* Experience a balanced body to access your whole brain
* Develop self-awareness and noticing skills

For the classroom teacher, a new understanding of body postures and behaviors demonstrated by students in the classroom.

For the physical educator and coach, a new understanding for the lack of physical and mental performance.

For the occupational and physical therapists, another perspective for understanding movement from the developmental perspective.

All professionals taking the course will gain new tools to support the learning process of the brain and body
