About this event
CODA is a 2021 coming of age comedy drama film written and directed by Sian Heder. The film stars Emilia Jones as the child of deaf adults (CODA) and only hearing member of her family. The film follows her attempts to help her family’s struggling fishing business, while pursuing her own aspirations of being a singer.
CODA won the Oscar for Best Picture in 2022. Lead actor Troy Kotsur, who plays the father in the film, is the first Deaf male actor to win an Oscar. CODA also won the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Onsite parking is 2 hours maximum and enforced. IDHHC is not responsible if you get a ticket. 3 hour parking may be available at the Saanich Centre parking lot across the street.
