Join magazine marketer and publisher Tracey McKinley as she takes you through the possibility of moving your publication from a controlled to a paid distribution model. This session will cover the pros and cons of controlled models, how to evaluate your titles' potential in the paid market, and best practices in making the switch. Attendees will walk away with concrete tools to evaluate a publication’s potential for building paid circulation and marketing strategies to convert from controlled circulation to paid. This session will be followed by a Q&A period. 

Tracey McKinley is a magazine consumer marketer and publisher with 30 years of diverse experience leading and launching national brands. Her marketing expertise spans digital media, print, retail, direct mail, broadcast, sponsorships, partnerships and market research, and she has worked across a wide variety of magazine categories and titles.  Tracey currently runs a consulting business which includes leading the consumer marketing of RICARDO magazine. Previously she was Vice-President of Consumer Marketing and Executive Publisher of HELLO! Canada magazine at Rogers Publishing Ltd where she led teams to achieve unparalleled growth and innovation.
