Craig S. Mullins Biography
Craig S. Mullins is the President and principal consultant of Mullins Consulting, Inc. In addition, he is a consultant for Datavail Database Services, and the publisher and editor of The DataBase Site. Craig has in-depth experience in multiple industries, spanning banking, utilities, software development, research, and consulting.
Craig has written for many computer and IT publications, and has authored articles for numerous popular IT and database journals and websites. His speaking engagements include IT conferences where he has presented database issues to thousands of participants. He has presented at conferences such as SHARE, IBM Insight (formerly known as IBM Information on Demand), IDUG, the Data Management Association (DAMA) Symposium, and Oracle OpenWorld. He has spoken at events in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
Craig has over three decades of experience in all facets of database systems development, including developing and teaching DB2 and SQL classes, systems analysis and design, database and system administration, and data analysis and modeling. He has worked with DB2 on the mainframe since Version 1, and has experience working with other database technology including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, and IMS.
Craig graduated Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a double major in Computer Science and Economics, and a minor in Mathematics.
