Event description
Please note there are no classes on February 15th and 22nd. Join our master craft artist and make your own pair of beaded mukluks.

About this Event

Mukluks and moccasins have been worn for thousands of years by original peoples of Turtle Island. Through the generations, they have become an intricate and beautiful art form, demanding patience and incredible skill from the craftspeople who make them. Their creation is a time-honoured tradition that tell stories of language, history and place. Create your own history with teachings from our Storyboot master craft artist at the Bata Shoe Museum. Storyboot School provides all the materials you will need to bead, sew and complete your pair of mukluks.
