About this event
Warren Murfitt and Kate Main are songwriters with influences in Roots, Country and Bluegrass music.
They have played together for well over a decade, their harmonies come easy, as does the stage banter, humour and story telling! Their music has brought them many great gigs including The Vancouver Folk Music Festival, Harmony Arts Festival, Shady Grove Festival, Home Routes Tours, Winnipeg Crankie Fest, as well as many independent tours and local Vancouver, BC and Alberta gigs.
By way of a resume, they currently have 4 albums of original material, Little Bit Gone (2019), Rust and Bone (2015), Lonesome Curve (2012) and Nineteen56 (2009) under their belts, and their 5th recording (produced and recorded by Tim Hearsey) is due for release Spring 2023.
