Event description

Description

Speaker: Zia Davidian (Master of Information Studies candidate, McGill University)

This workshop will introduce you to the technology available in the Sandbox, through examples influenced by art, museology, and cultural heritage. We’ll explore GIFs, stolen art, and ancient ruins in VR; we’ll create 3D scans of ourselves; and we’ll 3D print miniature versions of priceless antiquities. Come explore the exciting intersection of technology and the arts! This workshop is designed as an introduction to the space; not everyone will leave with a print. Open to everyone. 120 minutes.
