École de musique de l'Université d'Ottawa / School of Music, University of Ottawa

Over the past fifty years, the uOttawa School of Music has become one of Canada’s leading university programs in music, with a comprehensive offering of high-level study in performance, education and pedagogy, theory and musicology, and composition.  Our teaching faculty is made up of active performers on the national and international scene and scholars at the top of their fields. Our students have the opportunity to follow their course of study in English and French. Performance opportunities are many with close ties to arts organizations such as the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra and the National Arts Centre. Our campus is located in the heart of the nation’s capital, making it easy for our students to enjoy the bilingual milieu and rich cultural life of the region.
