ABOUT ELENA MATTEUCCI
Elena Matteucci graduated with special honours in piano from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome and in chamber music from the Academy of Santa Cecilia. From the Chigiana Academy in Siena, she was awarded an honorary degree and the prestigious Peterlongo Prize. Ms. Matteucci is a member of the Michelangelo Quartet. Her brilliance was recognized by several prestigious awards, including the first prize at the International Chamber Music Competition in Illzach (France) and the Premio Michelangelo, chaired by the late Ennio Morricone. Ms. Matteucci has performed in all the major cities and festivals in Italy and has toured throughout Europe, South America, and the Republic of China.
ABOUT SEBASTIAN ZAGAME
Sebastian Zagame was born in Rome on November 30, 2000. He began studying the violin at the age of 3. Admitted to the Conservatory at the age of 7, he graduated with honours at the Santa Cecilia at 16. He perfected himself with Maestro Pavel Berman. Zagame is a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra. He has been invited to prestigious international festivals, such as the Rome Chamber, Civita, Al Bustan etc. Winner of international competitions such as D. Lipatti, Crescendo etc. He collaborates with renowned artists such as E. Matteucci, R. McDuffie, T. Keller, P. Kuusisto etc.

The Istituto Italiano di Cultura, Cultural Section of the Consulate General of Italy in Toronto, provides the opportunity for cultural collaboration between Italian and Canadian organizations and individuals, in order to facilitate exchange in the field of theatre, music and cinema.
