Anne and the JSO Choir (Joyful Sound Ottawa)

Joyful Sound Ottawa is an intergenerational, community choir for persons with memory loss and their caregivers and students. Why not invite your grandchildren (ages 13 and up) to participate, too? By the way this is a great way for any high school students to earn community service hours.

We will be doing online (virtual) rehearsals using Zoom on Tuesdays from 3:30 – 4:30. Rehearsals will begin January 19 and continue until April 13.

This is a choir not a drop- in event. It is necessary for people with dementia and their caregivers to attend on a weekly basis.

We will be preparing a number of pieces for a virtual concert in the spring. Individual choir members will record themselves at home.

Then the wonders of technology will weave their magic to create some wonderful choral pieces. Join us on Tuesdays!
