Description

The Islamic Shia Ithna-Asheri Association (ISIA) will hold the first event of a six-day Muslim-Christian relations dialogue, the first of which will take place on Wednesday, October 25th, 2017. The Theme for this evenings event will be: The Concept of self-sacrifice for faith communities as embodied by Imam Hussein(PBH) and Prophet Jesus(PBH). The venue will take place at The Islamic Shia Ithna-Asheri Association (4307 33 Ave NW, AB T6L 4H7) and the event is free. The main focus and theme that will be discussed will be presented by Dr. Mohammad Ali Shomali from London, the UK and Dr. Harry J Huebner from Winnipeg, distinguished Shia Muslim and Mennonite Christian theological scholars respectively who have been collaborating with each other for several years on an interfaith basis. All are welcome to this event!

Dress code: Islamic Attire (Ladies headscarf)
