Event description

Description

Join illustrator Natalie Very B. in a safe space workshop where you’ll learn how to create an empowering version of a self portrait with ink and tell YOUR story through visual imagery. During the painting process you’ll look at yourself with a newly found kindness and appreciate your own body as a sacred temple and a real work of art. This workshop will focus on body positivity and a variety of inking techniques.

Who will be teaching?

Natalie Very B. is an illustrator, muralist, and teacher of Polish-Canadian decent. Having grown up in a country with a strong patriarchal regime, she finds solace in painting ethereal shapes of female figures that depict women as beautiful, empowered, and strong. Her current work is devoted to the investigation of whimsical shapes of feminism in today’s world.
