The National Advertising Benevolent Society – NABS – is the only charitable group in Canada set up exclusively to help people in the advertising, marketing and media industries who may need help due to illness, injury, unemployment, substance abuse or financial difficulties. NABS provides assistance to individuals and their families who have earned all or most of their income from advertising work, including jobs in an ad agency, media, broadcast or print production, graphic arts, marketing/advertising departments in a company, or other advertising related jobs.
NABS services include a 24 hr. help line, short term financial assistance, as well as emotional support and counseling. Founded in 1983, and supported 100% by the advertising, marketing and communications industries, NABS has full-time staff and offices in Toronto, Vancouver & Quebec.
As a fully-registered charity, NABS generates funds through high-profile special events and is well known within the advertising and media sectors.
Service charges levied by Eventbrite are calculated at the checkout. The NABS Cannes Lions Screening is a fundraiser for all the serivces and programs that NABS provides to the industry.
