NAFMA: If you grow, raise, process, buy or sell food or Ag in NE Alberta
Thu, 27 April 2017, 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM MDT
NAFMA’s mission is to connect local and innovative food and agriculture with emerging and available opportunities. If you grow, raise, process, buy, or sell food or Ag (hemp included), then plan to attend our one day seminar. Hear about the emerging market opportunities in northern Alberta and how NAFMA is leading this producer lead initiative. We are here to connect the dots!
There will be an Ari-Food Round table, presenters, networking opportunities, and review of our online database and Investor Toolkit. We also invite producers, manufacturers, processors and sellers to book a free booth (first come first serve).
NAFMA is a not for profit founded in 2010 and supports agriculture and agri food in the Northeast Alberta (HUB) Region. Borne of a vision for a regional food processing facility (Portage Food Science Centre) and to create a Recognized Local Brand (NAFMA Trademark), our current vision is to connect local and innovative food and agriculture with the emerging and available opportunities.
Our website is being updated, but currently contains an initial inventory (map) of Producers, Processors, Retailers and Distributor in the region as well as an investor toolkit: www.nafma.ca
Presentations, Speakers, Food Science Centre Tours, Networking Opportunities, Roundtable Discussion with NAFMA AGM at 3:30 pm.
