NAIT alumni are invited to experience a wine and food pairing at Ernest's. This event is one of a series of social events for NAIT alumni.

About this Event

NAIT Alumni Relations presents: Wines Around the World

Alumni and their guests are invited to join us on another culinary world tour!

Ernest's award winning culinary team will treat you to wine and food from South Africa, Australia, Italy and Argentina. At each station, you will enjoy a taste of the regional cuisine with one savoury and one sweet sample of food.

You can look forward to sampling Beef Biltong with coriander, Saltimbocca with prosciutto and basil pesto, Cannoli with pistachio pastry cream and Lamington with raspberry and chocolate.

Chef Michael Hassall | Ernest's Executive Chef

Michael Hassall graduated from NAIT’s Culinary Arts program in 2006 and has spent the past decade working in restaurants overseas – at the Blue Water Grill in Perth, Australia – and in Canada, most recently at the Windermere Golf and Country Club and vivo Ristorante in Edmonton. His diverse background has contributed to his unique cooking style, in which he mixes classic and modern techniques with a heavy emphasis on “in-house” cooking with seasonal and local produce.
