NAIT Health and Life Sciences Interview Preparation Workshop
Event Information
About this event
Attend this workshop to learn more about our health program interview process and how you can successfully prepare.
Join us for our “new and improved” Health Program Interview Workshops! Feedback from past attendees has indicated that the most valuable component of the Health Program Interview Workshops is the practice time and in response to this feedback we have altered the format of our workshops. What does this mean for you? You’ll still be getting all of the helpful tips and information through pre-recorded sessions, but the actual workshop will be made up primarily of practice time so that you can practice answering common questions and feel more prepared and confident for your future Health Program Interview!
What can registrants expect?
Registrants will receive an email with a link to join the virtual session 5-7 business days prior to this workshop. The email will also include recordings that we ask you to view prior to the live workshop as they will provide you with details on the below information. Viewing these recordings should take 75 minutes.
• Why interviews are part of the selection process for some of NAIT’s Health Sciences programs
• What to expect when it comes to: getting selected for an interview, being invited to an interview, and participating in the online interview
• Tips for ensuring your technology and room is set up appropriately
• How to effectively communicate your suitability for a NAIT Health Sciences program in an online recorded interview
On the day of the virtual workshop, we’ll briefly go over some key highlights from the recordings and then we will move into practice activities. Please note that practice activities will make up the majority of this session, so we encourage you to test your audio and microphone in advance. There will also be time for questions at the end.
If you require accommodations for this event, please email us at sfad@nait.ca to make arrangements. When possible, accommodation requests should be received at least two weeks before the event date.
