Event Details

Asset Management Saskatchewan will be hosting 3-day NAMS training sessions for local government staff and elected officials across Saskatchewan. The training sessions will provide staff and elected officials with a broad and holistic understanding of Asset Management practices. Participants will leave equipped with the knowledge and resources to develop and implement an asset management program in their local government.

NAMS  is a proven training program designed specifically for local government employees to integrate the efforts of the disciplines of public works, finance, administration and political leaders.  The Framework has been developed to recognize the diversity of Saskatchewan's communities and be scalable to community size, character and capacity.

The Framework focuses on desired outcomes rather than prescribing specific methodologies, thereby allowing local governments to develop and implement an approach that can be measured and incremental, tailored to the specific needs and capacity of individual local governments.
