We are excited to kick off 2022 and tis the season for …. Image Salon!
As we jump back into the swing of things, our National Image Salon deadlines are coming up near the end of the month. As such, this month's Virtual Talk will be on navigating the Image Salon.
Our wonderful members and friends Gerry David and Kim Ross from PPOC AB will be sharing information and tips on how to best navigate making your submissions to the National Image Salon.
Gerry David, MPA, SPA
Gerry is a member of CAPA and PPOC where he has held many roles including National Image Competition Chair. While he enjoys all types of photography, his passion is aroun the 3A's - Action, Animals and Arts. You'll find him at most small rodeos around southern Alberta, looking for the prime locations with the best backgrounds. Gerry is also proud to be asked to be Team Captain for World Photographic Cup and hardworks to keep up the proud tradition to put together a winning team for Canada.
Kim Ross, MPA
Kim Ross is a contemporary storytelling portrait artist from rural Alberta. Kim worked as a studio manager in Western Canada's largest commercial and advertising studio prior to moving to opening a full time retail portrait studio.
