Event description
A Discussion with Vincent Rigby, National Security and Intelligence Advisor to the Prime Minister

About this event

The national security and intelligence landscape in Canada has become more complex, driven by new and non-traditional threats, including climate change, pandemics, migration and food insecurity. Compounded by rapid technological change and shifting geopolitical trends, the need for a coordinated approach within Canada is more important than ever before.

As part of the Centre for International Governance Innovation’s (CIGI’s) continued work on reimagining a modern Canadian national security strategy, we are pleased to host Vincent Rigby, National Security and Intelligence Advisor to the Prime Minister of Canada. He will discuss his role in supporting the government in responding to national security challenges in the twenty-first century, the evolving global threat landscape, the best practices emerging in allied states and Canada’s response.

A Q&A period moderated by CIGI Managing Director Aaron Shull will follow.
