Natural Holistic Soap - workshop

Learn how to make natural soap at home. During this 3 hour workshop we will make a batch of natural soap by using the cold process.  Learn from an experienced soap maker, step by step, what is involved in the process and how to make natural soap that is healthy option for you and people you care about. This workshop is planned for a small group of max 9 persons.

We'll start our workshop by creating our own recipe.  You will learn how to calculate quantity of oils, water, lye and other ingredients that you can add to your natural soap. We will discuss the beneficial properties of oils that you can use for your soap, benefits of pure essential oils that we add to the soap, how to safely handle lye, some other tips and craft secrets. If you are thinking of a new hobby or even business opportunity this is the right start. 

You will receive the recipe for the soap we make during the workshop and some soap samples that are ready to be used immediately. After this first workshop you will get knowledge that will help you to start making soaps by yourself. Learning a new skill is always unforgettable experience. I hope you enjoy a healthy lifestyle.

Who can attend this workshop and how to dress:

Enthusiastic people, age 18 or older.

No previous experience in making soaps is required.

Dress properly by wearing older clothing with long sleeves and pants or longer skirt/dress. Before you book to participate in this workshop let me know if you have any allergy. We use nut oils in the soap making process. Although all the ingredients are pure and natural some essential oils should be avoided during the pregnancy.

I will provide all the ingredients and protective goggles and gloves. All ingredients that we use for making soaps are natural. There will be absolutely no harsh chemicals, artificial colors or scents. Let's make it right from the beginning.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Easy access by subway, Yonge and Eglinton subway station. If you are coming by car, visitors parking is available upon request on first come first serve basis.

No, there is no need to bring a ticket. I will receive the info about people who register for the workshop.
