The Canadian Homebuilders’ Association of Northern BC (CHBA-NBC) is hosting NRCan's Local Energy Efficiency Partnership (LEEP) Technology Forum, at the Prince George Conference & Civic Centre on November 14 & 15 2016.
This forum is accredited for 12 in total (six per day) approved CPD points with the Home Owner Protection Office and has been approved by the Building Officials Association of BC for 12 CPD points in total (six per day).
This forum is designed to provide a time saving way to learn about new technologies for high performance homes. The Forum will address the ‘need-to-know’ information on technologies selected by a leading group of builders in your local area. These builders identified the key priorities from their perspective and asked for deep technical and costing reviews. This process will enable an ‘apples to apples’ comparison against a base case home that will be addressed by their selected manufacturers and technical experts, including:
- Day 1: Energy efficient wall systems ( four will be examined)
- Day 2: Mechanical systems for use in efficient housing (four will be examined)
Builders, developers, planners & building officials, government, suppliers, trades, industry partners & professionals in the residential construction industry are welcomed to attend. Invite your designers, framing & mechanical contractors to register for the day(s) of most interest to them. Morning coffee & muffins are supplied at 8:00am both days, as are mid and afternoon breaks and lunch.
Please attend the pre-conference activity (to be confirmed) on November 13. Wind down and enjoy the Canadian Home Builders’ Industry Dinner on the Monday evening with a fabulous dinner, great company and entertainment.
