Navigating the Canadian Mental Health System

About this event
Looking for mental health resources and how to access therapy, but don't know where to begin? Join Creative' Flow's Navigating the Canadian Mental Health information session, where we will explore how the Canadian Mental Health system works, and what resources are available to you. Topics include: learning about the different types of mental health professionals and what they offer, what options you have when finding a therapist, and tips for your first therapy session.
This event is facilitated by Lamia Firasta, and Siham Karamali who are University of Toronto students as well as certified Distress Centre responders. The workshop has gracious preparation support from UTSC Professor of Psychology, Dr. Shona Tritt.
This series is open to all, but is specifically geared towards supporting Canadian Youth (ages 18 - 30).
