Join us for a workshop on how to strengthen your messaging to elected officials and advance environmental advocacy at the grassroots level!
About this event
Following the recent Ontario provincial election, grassroots advocates may be looking for inspiration and reconsidering strategies for pushing our elected leaders for environmental leadership. So please join us for an online workshop on Navigating the Post-Election Government Landscape in Ontario, happening July 14th, 12:00pm - 1:00pm ET via Zoom.
- Aaron Freeman, government relations expert and GreenPAC founder, will cover themes like positioning your messaging so it resonates with government, where to look for leadership now, and where the opposition parties might go.
- Matthew Lie-Paehlke, Ontario Community Engagement Lead at Environmental Defence, will offer advice on topics like how advance key environmental issues that haven't gained a lot of traction yet, how to connect in politically important constituencies to your advocacy to build support and how to leverage the media.
This webinar will be interactive - bring your priorities, questions and ideas on how to keep your advocacy impactful.
This event is brought to you by GreenPAC, a non-partisan, non-profit focused on building environmental leadership in politics, across parties.
