Event description

Description

You are invited to attend the annual ARI Summer Institute taking place August 15 & 16 at the Fredericton campus. This exciting professional development opportunity is open to all employees who are interested in applied research and innovation activities at NBCC.

The purpose of the institute is to develop knowledge, skill and expertise in applied research within the College. The institute brings together researchers, subject matter experts and funding agency representatives to share experiences and knowledge in a number of areas, such as: funding opportunities; project development; research ethics; what successful projects look like; and collaboration opportunities. This year, the event will feature panels on the value of collaboration, success stories, and NBCC's office of Applied Research and Innovation. Participants will learn about the experiences of their colleagues, industry and students participating in applied research projects. The potential for collaborative opportunities will be explored and participants will gain a better understanding of what is happening within applied research at NBCC.
