Neighborhood Freight Forum
Thu, 27 April 2017, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM EDT
This spring, the DUKE Heights BIA will be partnering with the Pembina Institute to launch a Neighbourhood Freight Forum (NFF). The NFF will bring together local business representatives and other local stakeholders to improve goods movement in our BIA over a three-year period.
With the support of experts and while engaging with City of Toronto staff, NFF members will work together to identify local goods movement issues and test on-the-ground solutions to address them. These solutions can lead to reduced costs for businesses and operators, while increasing the attractiveness of the DUKE Heights BIA as a place to work and play. It will also help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
This event is the official launch of the NFF and we invite you to attend and voice your concerns about issues like parking, traffic lights, congestion, trucking and more.
Join us on April 27th and learn more about this exciting intitative, voice your concerns and discover how to become a member of the Neighborhood Freight Forum in DUKE Heights!
