THEME OF MEETING: Introduction to Meditation for Entrepreneurs
Meditation can help you reduce stress, increase focus and improve your memory. The class will:
1. provide a lifestyle context for meditation
2. explain proper meditation techniques, such as breathing, posture and focus
3. discuss how to improve meditation technique
4. practise meditation – breathing, posture and focus
Please wear comfortable, loose clothing (preferably natural fibres). Bring a yoga mat or a towel for possible floor work.
Rosemary Sylman is a registered meditation instructor. She has been practicing meditation (and Yoga) for many decades. She worked for IBM for 25 years in consulting and teaching roles, and is a proud dog fanatic.
5 min. Opening remarks from Moderator.
15 min. Optional minute to say (who you are, what you do, what you offer, what you need).
60 min. SPEAKER - Rosemary Sylman: 30 min. presentation; 30 min. practice mediation.
15 min. General Group Discussion - ask the group for tips that can help you solve current problems.
5 min. Closing remarks. Next Theme & Meeting.
20 min. Networking - Informal networking between attendees.
