Networking Mixer for Makers at FITC Toronto
Mon, 24 April 2017, 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM EDT
Join fellow FITC Toronto conference goers for some drinks and conversation as we take a look some of the innovative work being done by creative technologists and discuss the ever changing relationship between creative expression and technology. This event is hosted by CreateInTO representing a broad group of individuals with common roles as makers, doers, builders, tinkerers. Many are former Flash designers and developers who now make everything from mobile games to large scale interactive installations.
If you're interested in Arduinos, coding in Processing, projection mapping, TouchDesigner, blinking LEDs, or anything else that sees code manifest itself in creative ways on screen, in VR or physically in the real world, then we'll probably touch on issues and ideas that you'll be into.
As part of this networking event, we'll be inviting local members to do quick presentations on some of their projects and opening the floor up to anyone attending who wants to share what they are working on as well.
