M is for Math Madness! Daryl Chichak, STEM specialist and Edmonton Catholic Schools principal, knows how to get students excited about math. Find out how to build number sense through fun games that are engaging and motivating. Hands-on math materials used during this session will be available for purchase at $10 per kit the evening of the workshop.

Chemistry Across Curriculum - 7:15pm

If you haven’t seen Lucio Gelmini in action, here is your chance! Lucio is a professor at Grant MacEwan and is well known for wowing audiences with cool chemistry. Division II teachers, learn how spectacular science experiments can be incorporated into Gr. 4 Light & Shadow, Gr. 5 Classroom Chemistry and Gr. 6 Evidence & Investigation.
