The dark moon brings a time to work on the facets of ourselves that are a part of us, but not always seen – the shadow. The shadow is not something negative that must be defeated, it is us, and needs to be accepted and integrated so we can become whole. The new moon is the perfect time to work on integrating the shadow into your everyday life and setting the groundwork for future growth.
After introductions you will be given a guided teaching on significance of this new moon. Everyone will then set private intentions for the coming moon cycle, and we will start the group meditation and move into a place of stillness. After the meditation we will take some time to write out the symbols shown and messages received during the meditation. The evening will end with a group discussion.
Meditating in a group setting is powerful and combines each participant's unique gifts to assist everyone involved. Join Patty and Jen on a journey of healing, self-mastery, and to explore the parts of yourself that would like to come to light.
Please bring a:
• Cushion or pillow to sit on
• Blanket or shawl to cover yourself with
• Journal or notebook
• Pen
• Travel mug or reusable cup
• Face mask/covering
Water, tea, and a light snack will be offered.
End time may vary, up to 9:30 PM. Due to COVID-19 restrictions space is limited.
