New Non-Profit Legislation and Applying for Charitable Status

An introduction to the process of non-profit incorporation, including Ontario’s Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (ONCA)and the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (NPCA). Additionally, this session will include how to incorporate and comply with legislation, how to apply for charitable status, and provide an overview of the different obligations for charities and non-profits. Attendees will learn

• Expectations of non-profits and charities

Registration will close at 9am the day of the event or when it sells out, whichever comes first. Registrants will be provided a link to the online meeting on the day of the event.
