Self-awareness is essential to our well-being. In order to develop our physical, emotional, and spiritual health, we need to access our inner experiences while remaining aware of our outer world.
Expressive and reflective writing offers admission to our inner self and helps us form a deeper connection with our lived experience.
The specially developed online writing & wellness workshop will guide you through a series of writing exercises in a mindful way to explore the written word as a powerful tool for self-care and self-discovery. It will also provide you with a self-reflective writing practice that you can continue on your own and integrate into your daily experience.
Your facilitator, Gerard Beirne is a published author with 6 books of poetry and fiction. Past winner of Hennessy New Irish Writer of the Year Award and shortlisted for the Kerry Group Irish Fiction Award, the Danuta Gleed Literary Award, & Bord Gais Irish Book Awards. He has training in counselling and mindfulness and has been teaching writing for 30 years. He regularly facilitates writing & wellness workshops.
