The Rainbow Chorus Presents... New York, Our Way - A Spectacular Variety Show and Dance
Join us for an evening of talent as the Rainbow Chorus members and friends come together in a variety show filled with song, dance, music and fun!
The variety show will be followed by a dance when everyone is invited to come out as they are or as you want to be! Prizes for best/most original costume.
All proceeds from this event will go towards the Rainbow Chorus' upcoming trip to perform Tyler's Suite at the Lincoln Center in New York City.
Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door, or $10 for just the dance.
Rainbow Chorus of Waterloo Wellington Invited to Perform in New York City with Dr. Tim Seelig
Distinguished Concerts International New York City (DCINY) have announced that Annetta Whetham and the Rainbow Chorus of Waterloo Wellington have been invited to participate in a performance of Tyler’s Suite, a collaborated piece by some of the world’s top composers, including Ann Hampton Callaway, John Corigliano, Stephen Flaherty, Jake Heggie, and Stephen Schwartz on the DCINY Concert Series in New York City. This performance will be in David Geffen Hall (formerly known as Avery Fisher Hall) in Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, June 4, 2017. These outstanding musicians will join with other choristers to form the Distinguished Concerts Singers International, a choir of distinction. Dr. Tim Seelig, the Artistic Director of the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus, will act as conductor of the performance and clinician for the residency.
