Friends are such amazing gifts: people we share our lives with, that mutually support each other, that we respect and love. Whether we were brought together by shared values, common interests, or just plain circumstance, friends are such an important part of our lives.

We're curious to explore how expectations of what it means to "be a man" affect men's friendships. We want to dig into portrayals of male friendships in media, including male-female friendships, and ask some big questions!

For instance, it appears that men may struggle to make and maintain friendships — at least more so than women — so why is that? And what can we do about it?

We're hosting conversations about the things that matter to us — gender equity, inclusion, mental wellness, healthy relationships, and social justice. Our focus is typically on how men and masculinity fit into the feminist movement, but folks of all genders & backgrounds are welcome to attend.
