An introductory learning series for care partners of persons living with dementia. This 3 part weekly series will offer participants an opportunity to enhance their knowledge of:

Part 1. Alzheimer's disease and related dementia: an overview (May 02 AFTERNOON SESSION 2-4 pm)

Part 2. Understanding Communication and Behaviour Change: identifying positive strategies (May 9 AFTERNOON SESSION 2-4 pm)

Part 3. Managing Caregiver Stress Positively (May 16 EVENING SESSION 6:30-8:30 pm**There is a separate registration for this session**)

No fee for sessions, however a donation to defray workshop costs is welcomed.

**We encourage care partners to attend all 3 sessions if possible. (Note: This series is repeated quarterly).**

FAQs

Are there requirements to attend the event?

These sessions are intended only for care partners i.e., family and friends of a person diagnosed with dementia. Multiple family members are welcome, however registration is required for each person.

What are my parking options getting to the event?

Chartwell Harwood offers parking in their lot and on the side streets.
