This year’s fair is virtual! We are excited to deliver a fully interactive, online experience for both employers and jobseekers. Employers will be able to connect with NC students and the Niagara community using Eventus, our online event software.

How will the Virtual Career Fair work?

Just like a regular career fair, our Virtual Career Fair makes it easy for jobseekers to browse which employers they’re interested in talking to, and gives jobseekers the ability to browse employers relevant to their program and/or experience.

Timeslots for 1-on-1 sessions with employers and jobseekers will be available, as well as group sessions where all jobseekers can attend.

The Virtual Career Fair will take place through a separate Eventus website. It will launch in advance of the Career Fair day, allowing you to log in early and prepare!

Employer Registration

Cost: $275 + HST and processing fees ($330.82)

Employers will set up their virtual booth with the assistance of the NC Career Services team. Four days before the Fair jobseekers will be invited to create a profile and book virtual sessions with employers on Eventus. Employers can make their own preparations in advance of the Fair by reviewing resumes and profiles of jobseekers who have signed up for their slots. We will be offering timeslots for 1-on-1 sessions with employers and jobseekers as well as group sessions where all jobseekers can attend.

Registration includes:

• Access to two virtual booths for NC’s Virtual Career Fair on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 taking place using the Eventus platform.
• Employers can focus each booth on a specific recruitment area (example: one virtual booth for landscaping, the second virtual booth for HR opportunities)
• Two booths will allow for you to have two representatives from your company present and hosting separate group sessions and 1-on-1 virtual meetings with job seekers throughout the day to maximize connections.
• * Employers are invited to purchase another ticket for an additional 2 booths if they would like to focus their booths on additional recruitment areas.
• Your booths can be customized to showcase your company logo, web sites, company videos and the links to your postings on the MyCareer portal.
• Ability to pre-schedule your 1-on-1 virtual meetings prior to the Fair.
• Group sessions are hosted by the employer on a platform of their choosing (example: Zoom, MS Teams, etc.)
• The ability to review application documents from those who schedule a 1-on-1 video chat with you prior to the Career Fair.
• Features assist in streamlining the scheduling and research process for employers and job seekers.
• Access post event to continue to access to view additional applicants.
